This type of buckle should never be used with a leash. Our cat collars also feature a bell so you will always know where your cat is by the ringing bell. If you prefer to not know, it can easily be removed!

How To Measure Your Pet For A Collar
Wrap the tape measure around the neck snugly, leaving room to place one finger underneath the tape measure. Where the tape measure meets is the number of the measurement. Please do not add any numbers to the measurement for an accurate fit.
How A Collar Should Fit
Once the collar is on your pet you should be able to put at least two fingers underneath the collar. If the collar is any looser than this, your pet may be able to wiggle their way out of the collar. Using the two finger rule insures the collar will be snug enough, yet not be too tight to restrict your pet's airway.
